I quote Ed Grabianowski on "How Stuff Works" -

"Just being rich isn't enough to get yourself behind the wheel of the Enzo: Fewer than 400 were made, and prospective owners had to apply to Ferrari for the privilege of buying one. Oh, and don't say the name wrong: It's Enzo first, Ferrari second... Part of maintaining Ferrari's prestigious heritage is making sure that not everyone can have one. Only a privileged few can buy a Ferrari, and only the most elite owners and collectors in the world will drive one of these limited-edition production cars."

Additionally, a Formula One driver/Enzo owner stated on the Speed Channel a few weeks ago, "The Enzo is more car than 99.9% of the world's population can safely handle."

And here you are on Yahoo Questions asking how to make one faster for off-track use. On top of that, the 15,000 mile service alone on an Enzo will cost you far more than your stated "budget" of $30K.

Now, I'm usually not confrontational, but everything about your question smacks of pure BS. What joy does someone get out of such silliness?

legal street racing doesnt exist, you dont own an enzo, and 30 grand will not buy you any v12 ever produced, especially not any ferrari motor. Those are usually sold part by part for significantly over 100 grand with a trade in. Some far higher still.

Youd be lucky to get a crankshaft for 30 grand on most italian v12s.

I completely quote Kyle M!!!

I owned a 360 F1 and costed me 2500$ to change the clutch disc and you wanna make me believe that with 30 grand you can buy a V12? Do you think I'm stupid? A complete set of sodium valves for the Enzo comes in just 12000 Euro think about it.

And I suggest You to not try to modify your "in your mind" car or you'll completely loose the original guarantee!!!

Ahh and again Enzo comes from the factory with a complete carbon fiber body so..................well you know what I want to say!!!

You know what really irks me? people having nothing better to do then sitting around and making up stories. You are probably sitting at home in your underwear while every store in town refuses to take a check from you.

Does it make you feel better to sound like you are someone?

if you really owned a Ferrari Enzo, you certainly wouldn't be waisting your time on this forum asking questions about it.You would be talking to your Ferrari dealership.

A 30,000 budget? A budget for someone that can afford to buy a 1.5 million dollar exotic?

$30,000 IS BEER MONEY FOR ANY ONE WHO OWNS AN ENZO!
FIGHT ON!

1) you have to be invited by Ferrari to even be considered to buy this car.

2) you have to be in good standing with Ferrari to even be invited which means you have to have owned Ferraris before...and just by taking a quick look at some answers youve given on this site...THERES NO WAY IN HELL YOU OWN ONE!!! stop wasting our time w/ ur BS!!!

Nice that's a rare car , my dad owns a 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena and he just left it in stock form, I suggested to him on improving it like adding a DVD screen to the dash, Ferrari larger customs rims etc.. but he said that will make the car look cheap, many collector keep it in original form, so that is a suggestion.

Good Luck

$30,000 would barely pay for the oil change, I'd use the money to keep buying the drugs you're on.

well somone is still sleeping at the cubical hahah jk but no really some up grades will cost not too much but could increase bhp are......one thing that might be interesting would be if u could find the speed regulator on the car installed by the factory and if u find this bad boy and disable it.. well u get the picture also u could install a carbon fiber hood in order to keep things light weight not like they already arnt also u could and in a higher stage turbo but other wise i think the enzo is fast enough to beat any of the street racing thugs that i kno of hahah but congrats on the car

I would choose Number 1, simply because numbers 2 and 3 are ensured to eliminate the entire human species. So what if I die as one of the 90%? it's for the greater cause. Anyways, you still have the 10% chance of surviving. I would choose something that would at least leave the human race hanging by a thread instead at the end of a noose. nice question! what would you choose? mike

Well don't know if you have one or not, but if you do I would highly suggest interrior upgrades, check out Ebay for parts. Im sure a car that powerful doesn't need any upgrades, everything should be tunned good, but I would think about stuff for the inside suck as DVD screen, NAVIGATION, and throw in a PS3 :)..
